Our shooting ground is equipped with Promatic traps which enables everything to run smoothly for your enjoyment. It has a plug and play system with a delay or non delay whether you are with friends or alone you can have some fun.

We currently have a 50 bird sporting layout, but every stand has 3 traps to allow you to mix it up and shoot 100 or more. The ground also features two sportrap layouts.

There are two towers which are situated on high banks which allow you to shoot high driven birds. It is also a high skeet layout of which there are very few in the country.

The welcome at Lakeside Sporting is very warm and friendly and they have a great array of clays to challenge the best of shots but also help the beginner find the target.

Dave Carrie Shooting Visits Lakeside

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Dave Carrie Shooting at Lakeside Sporting. Regarded as one of the best high pheasant shots in the country, Dave is well known on both the international clay shooting circuit and in UK game shooting. Watch his fantastic run down of the great facilities at Lakeside as well as a look inside the Hadfield Guns shop. Dave also has a chat with our very own gold medal winning expert and member of the British shooting team, Linus Ridge about the latest in cutting edge optics.
